Any smoking in the rooms or strong lingering smoking scents in rooms will result in a disappointed look and a $100 room cleaning fee.
Damages: We want you to have a wonderful stay at The Hotel Melrose, but if things get too crazy, we go by the old-school rule of ‘you break it, you buy it.’ Property damages or missing items will be charged at replacement value to the credit card provided. Sing your heart out and have passionate conversation all day long, but from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. the whole property goes into hush mode for what we like to call quiet time (or sleepy time).
Pet Policy: While we love furry friends, The Hotel Melrose has a strict No Pet Policy. Our historic hotel has close quarters and we want to ensure an excellent experience for all guests. However, under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), we accept service animals defined as a dog that has been individually trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability. The task(s) performed by the dog must be directly related to the person’s disability.
We do not allow emotional support, therapy, comfort, or companion animals because they have not been trained to perform a specific job or task, and therefore do not qualify as service animals under the ADA.
Alcohol Policy: The good news? We have a bar! This means, by law, we can’t allow any alcohol to be brought onto the property. To uphold this law, we require all beverages on the property, including the patio, be purchased through the hotel, with the exception of transparent, see-through water bottles. Drinks purchased through the hotel are not allowed past the bar or patio area.
